Kim Victoria Cattrall, born July 21, 1956, in London in London, is a British and Canadian actress. She is most famous for her role as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. For this role she won the Golden Globe Award for 2002 as the best supporting female actress. The character was reprised on two of the Sex and the City films (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2009). She was also known as the main actor on the film Police Academy Big Trouble In Little China Mannequin & Porky's. Kim Cattrall's performance in the HBO TV comedy Sex & the City is one of the most memorable. Cattrall is a well-known actress, has credited her performance as Samantha Jones as a career-defining role.
